Students that have studied abroad can do job hunting by finding companies that conduct recruitment activities around the time they return to Japan as well as by participating in events held in Japan or overseas for those students (e.g., Boston Career Forum in the U.S., etc.).
For example, if you are back to the country in the summer and graduate in March of the following year, you need to start job hunting immediately as soon as you are back. It is necessary to proceed with self-analysis and industry/company research in advance (though this may not true in a different graduation period).
The Career Center also offers online consultations, email consultations, online broadcast of some events and downloadable materials. If you have any concerns about job hunting while studying abroad, feel free to contact us. Also, most of companies nowadays hold recruiting process online such as interviews. You will have a chance to participate to job hunting online even while abroad.
